Exterior Wall Cladding installation
Low Maintenance Exterior Wall Cladding
Exterior wall cladding uses fasteners (commonly known as dry hanging system).
The dry hanging method involves locking the hangers to the back of the wall panel and then hanging the wall panel on the horizontal keel of the frame structure.
The advantage of dry hanging is that it can be easily disassembled, facilitating the maintenance of the pipes behind it.
Currently, there are many different, yet largely similar, hardware options available for dry hanging systems in China.
Users can choose different hardware systems according to their needs, but the most basic requirement is that the hardware used in the dry hanging system should be made of materials that are not easy to rust and corrode, and have considerable strength. Our company uses T5/T6 grade aluminum.
| dry hanging thickness | Vertical spacing of keel | lateral spacing of keel |
| 8mm | <600mm | 400-450mm |
| 10mm | <650mm | 500-600mm |
When using the dry hanging method, the following points must be paid special attention to:
1.Leave a certain gap between the two wall panels to allow for expansion and contraction (minimum 5mm).
2.Wall panels should be installed on a metal frame structure, and not directly on brick walls or plywood, etc.
3.The wall panel must not be in direct contact with brick walls, floors, or ceilings.
4.Ensure that there is a certain degree of air circulation between the wall panel and the wall.
