Product Description
High pressure laminate
HPL (High Pressure Laminate) is a high-performance decorative material made by a high-temperature and high-pressure process.Made from high-grade decorative paper, kraft paper, and processed by impregnation, drying, high temperature and high pressure. Its core structure is by multiple layers of resin-impregnated paper, which is compressed and cured, it has many physical properties and decorative effects, and is widely used in construction, furniture, and other fields. HPL, with its comprehensive advantages of fire resistance, durability, and aesthetics, has become an important choice for modern decorative materials.

As a high-performance fireproof board innovator, we make every inch of space a carrier of aesthetics. Changzhou Giovanni provides the cornerstone for designers to create without boundaries. With a diverse range of colors, textures, and performance, it has become the ideal choice for enterprises to create visually appealing, comfortable, and forward looking spaces.
High Pressure Laminate (HPL) Sheets are high-performance decorative surfacing materials designed to deliver superior durability, visual appeal, and versatility. Produced under intense heat and pressure, these sheets are composed of multiple layers of kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resin and a decorative paper layer coated with melamine resin. The result is a dense, non-porous, and wear-resistant material that combines beauty with long-term performance. HPL sheets are widely used in residential and commercial environments for furniture, cabinetry, wall panels, countertops, doors, and decorative interiors, offering a sophisticated and practical design solution.
Product Details
Each High Pressure Laminate Sheet is built from a combination of strength, design, and technology. The core layers of kraft paper, saturated with phenolic resin, provide rigidity and dimensional stability. The decorative surface layer—treated with melamine resin—adds color, pattern, and protection. These layers are bonded together under high temperature (over 140°C) and high pressure (over 1000 psi), producing a solid, smooth, and durable sheet.
HPL sheets are available in thicknesses ranging from 0.6mm to 1.2mm for standard applications, and in thicker versions for more demanding or structural uses. A wide variety of surface finishes are offered, including matte, gloss, textured, embossed, and soft-touch, providing both visual and tactile appeal. The decorative papers come in hundreds of designs—such as woodgrains, marble, solid colors, stones, metallics, and abstract patterns—enabling endless creative possibilities for interior design and furniture manufacturing.
Product Features
Superior Durability: The hard, protective melamine surface provides excellent resistance to scratches, impacts, and abrasions, ensuring long-lasting performance even in high-traffic areas.

Easy Maintenance: The smooth, sealed surface resists stains and dirt, making cleaning quick and effortless while maintaining hygiene.
Rich Design Options: Available in a wide spectrum of patterns, textures, and colors to complement any modern or traditional décor.
Fire and UV Resistance: Engineered to meet international fire safety and UV protection standards, maintaining safety and color integrity over time.
Dimensional Stability: Retains flatness and strength without warping or deformation, even under changing environmental conditions.
Environmentally Responsible: Manufactured using sustainable materials and low-emission resins in compliance with eco-friendly production standards.
Product Advantages
High Pressure Laminate Sheets offer numerous advantages compared to conventional surfacing materials like natural wood, paint finishes, and veneer. They provide the aesthetic charm of natural materials with greater strength, affordability, and ease of maintenance. Unlike wood or veneer, HPL does not fade, warp, or crack, ensuring consistent quality and color throughout its lifespan.
HPL sheets are also lightweight and easy to cut, shape, and bond to substrates such as MDF, plywood, or particleboard, making them ideal for a variety of interior and furniture applications. They are highly resistant to chemicals and everyday wear, which makes them a top choice for environments like kitchens, hospitals, schools, and offices where both hygiene and durability are critical.
